That's the GTS and GTR. The GT's had standard 924 lamps.

Also,
I thought it had only flat door panels with leather pull straps, and no center console. I also think that it had fixed lexan side windows with sliders. I have a old issue of "911 and Porsche World" I will look it up.

I can't imagine how they would install the HVAC controls w/o a center console. If you can find pix, I'd love to see them. I'm currently making the plug for a mold to make a piece to hold my HVAC controls and some switches for my race car.

Of course, if there is a factory solution, I can't justify the cost anyway (in all likelihood).

Fixed windows with sliders were not in the CGT. They were in the CGTS and CGTR.

The car belongs to our local PCA chapter president. It is an authentic Carrera GT imported from Europe. All original, right down to the "pinstripe" interior.

Could you elaborate as to all that was involved in the importation of that car? I wonder the number of true Carrera GT's that are in the USA. I would have to think that is one of maybe a handfull?
