I remember when Larry was selling that car. I thought his asking price was very reasonable. I went the 968 route instead, but the guy who purchased Larry's car got a good deal on a nice S2.

It was a nice car and I miss it still.... He did have to replace the cage as he is very tall and the main hoop position did not allow him to put the seat back as far as he wanted.... I built the car to race PCA and NASA but when I went to get my comp license from the PCA they gave me **** saying that they changed the requirements over the winter and said I need to do more DE's so I said F-it!! and the PCA and got the NASA lic instead.....Then I decided to go rally instead as its WAY COOLER and more challenging (no flames)!!

I was fast on a road course and im not so fast in the woods yet......

I got a quesiton how much weight will you save?

I have not used my A/C in 2 years and really have no reason to have it (if its hot top goes down). I just wonder if the weight saving is worth the $$$ for the delete kit.

Larry, I have emailed you for a kit...
A qestion:
Has anyone, or is it possible to wire the second fan (The one that turns on with the AC running), so that it runs when the "other" fan switches on?

It seems to really help my cooliong when I have both fans running.

TIA.

Just push the button with the snow flake on it. The cooling fans don't know that the 'thing that squeezes the air' is gone. If you don't want both fans on - hit the button again to switch-off.

Fishey - I estimated that I took 35 lbs off the car by removing all the AC related components. I have seen higher estimates - but I don't trust them.

If you get enough orders to get them back down to the same price as last time let me know and I'll get 2.

I assume that it does fit a 968 motor since there is not difference in that area?

We would need 25 people or more to get to that price again and I dont think thats gonna happen........ As of now we have 5....... and yes they fit the 968
