Weltmeister 220 lb Stock Height Springs
Question:
Do the Weltmeister 220 lb/in springs, the ones listed as "stock height", require the spring spacers on a '87 951 with the M474 konis to maintain the stock height ? The Performance catalog suggests that they do, but it seems odd that they would be "stock height" and require spacers.
BTW, I installed a set (they are made by H&R) on my 951 and it seems to have dropped it about 1/2". I thought the spacers were 1" so using them would raise the car by 1/2". I'm ok with the drop...
Any other experiences with these springs ?

Well, I just did a nice long mountain test drive with these springs (no spacers) and they work beautifully. My 10 mile loop became 40 miles as I didn't want it to end... I'm very happy with them.
I have the 18mm stock rear sway bar - is it really a noticable difference to move up to the 19mm M030 rear bar ?
