ECU -

1) I cant believe that I (the head of the grammar gestapo) misspelled Flamingo...DOH!!

2) If yours is currently moving under its own power it is faster than mine! Nice dig BTW, maybe you and my wife should talk, it is her favorite as well

Actually, I think it looks pretty good too. BTW - I see you actually got your hatch from so-and-so at such-and-such shop on.

Actually, my car is getting the Ahmet special right now. I sent my head out to get rebuilt (valve stem seals went bad)- warranty work from my "new" engine I had put in. Yes, hatch FINALLY came in (long time ago actually), I did pull it apart to have painted though (as you can see)

I am a little lost on the "nice dig" comment (sorry, i'm slow)...

Was referring to the fact you said yours is faster, since mine still does not run. My wife likes to throw that in there once in a while too. I figured maybe you two had been talking

haha, ok, then your wife sounds like my parents. I am constantly doing SOMETHING with my car, either modifying or maintaining, so it rarely runs. I dont mind terribly though- I ordered myself a new Vrod Harley today, so it will get a lot of my attention for a while

Whats the story with your car? Why is it currently under the knife?

Well, when I bought it I knew what I wanted to do with it so I tore it down, 1 move and a whole lot of time later I havent found time to put it back together. Car should make about 400RWHP, maybe a little shy, I am kind of concerned the turbo is going to be too small.

Nice! Do you have a 3L? What all has been done to it? What turbo are you running?

I was really close to starting a 3L 16V project, but decided to get a bike instead- I think I am about through spending money modifying my car. I need to start saving money for my 993TT :-)

Nope, 2.5L and a whole bunch. Too much to list here, takes too much time. The turbo is a T04E but I think it is going to be too small for my goals. The other option is to boost the daylights out of it and it is looking that way.

ahh, then you must have standalone. I was also opting to go with a Link2 setup, but again, tired of spending money. I think 350 at the wheels or so should satisfy me. I haven't even installed my SMT6 yet, and made 320 at the wheels at only 14.5psi, which isnt too shabby, so I think once I am able to tune the car, I should make a decent amount more at 17-18psi. I am running the Vitesse Stage 2 turbo (T04E as well)

I am running an adjustable setup but not a standalone unit. Custom software as well tuned for 21 psi. Will make about 350ish at 15psi so you are not far off. Either way car should be damn fast, not I just have to finish it.
