Default WTB: Brake Reservoir Cap

Well, I was dicking around with the fluid level sensor on my brake reservoir cap, trying to see how it worked. I pressed on the plunger, and a couple of pieces that go on top of it popped off and fell into the never never land that is the engine bay.

Anyone got a good one for sale?

where exactly did it fall? I don't reccommend just leaving lose parts in the engine bay in case they eventually come loose and interfere with moving components. If it dropped un your belly pan just get under the car and take it out. I'm sure it went into there. If under the intake manifold, fish it out with a coat hanger or something.

well, they were small and plastic. I searched for them for about 30 minutes with a flash light when it happened; to no avail. Plastic is softer than the rocks that get kicked up in there, so that part doesnt worry me much. The hole in the top of my brake reservoir does concern me though... duct tape is a VERY temporary solution.

Don't worry about finding them, after about 5 min of driving they will fall out I'm sure.
