My Lights won't go off!

My Lights won't go off!
I was charging my battery and the lights on the drivers side came on. Is this normal? I took it off the charger just to be safe. Could it be a short in a wire? Thanks!

I had that situation, seems it is a parking light thing for parking at night on the street in Stuttgart or other European city. I disconnected the battery to avoid it going flat, it was fine in the morning when I connected the battery. Someone on this site mentioned it.
