Did anyone go to Gmund West 04 in Colorado this past weekend? Its a gathering of 356's and Porsche Tractors mostly. Its put on/hosted by George Maybee of Henderson, Colorado. They have a full size replica of the Gmund factory on their property. There was a lot of nice cars there, even a 906. Also they had an autocross with tractors! I was supprised to see a handful of nice 4-cylinder front engined Porsches! There was what appears to be a 968 CS. Didn't know you could get those in America. Well, here's some pics.

That silver 951is my friend, Jim Gravens, car. I was hoping to caravan with him from KC but my wife couldn't get the time off work.
Can't wait to hear from Jim, looks like it was a fun time!

Possibly. I only knew of one other imported 968CS, and that is the blue one that Rich Tillotson has. Importing them is difficult, the skinny is that since the CS cars do not have airbags like the 968's here did in that date range, they have to be fit with an airbag dash and steering wheel, along with some other saftety items. Plus a few other things need to be changed from what I have read.
I'd love to have the money to do that. I think by the time you paid for the car, the shipping, the conversion and fees, it would end up costing twice what it is worth. I can dream I guess!

i found out that the 968 is indeed a cs. a friend knows someone that worked at the local porsche dealer in denver. he said the car was real, it would come in for service.
