What company makes 7" halo's??? I wonder how bright the main beams are.

I was looking at Pete's H4's yesterday when reassembling the front end of the S2- Those are sure nice too.. and very bright!

What's the point? They are in lieu of daytime running lights on the E39.

I think it's not too bad. I'm not a big Fiberworks fan but it looks decent. The car really needs a lower stance and the rear bumper panel thing is "butt" ugly IMO. The paint looks well done.
It does look quite a bit better than it did when he bought it.

You can actually make angel eyes yourself, its a stick of solid acrylic that you put a bunch of little notches in. Then heat it up and form it around something. Then you aim LEDs into the ends of it, and it acts like a length of fiber.

You can also do the same thing with flat acrylic, aim an LED into one side of it and it lights up all the edges.

Yeah, some Bimmers have it. I think it's rice when they put them on the E46s and E36s as well. They didn't come with that.

i actually found the website that went step by step on how to make them. I contacted the guy a while vback and he said he can get them to me for $90 plus $10 shipping.

It's not rice, it's Kraut. Angel Eyes don't fit a 944 at all. BTW, 200 HP? IF it's a chipped 944S than maybe I'd have some belief in that and a Nology ignition and K&N filter won't really do squat for power either.

Be it rice or not, is it worth spending $ on something that will only be seen when you drive around with your parking lights on? And that only if you had the driving lights on before switching to parking lights.

And BTW, I do like the rest of the car. I would personally do something different for the front and rear treatment, but the rest of the car is pretty decent (needs some suspension attention too).

I really like the color and I think he did a decent job of painting the thing at least.

Its not rice if the car come with it. It may be pointless bling or something, but not rice. Rice is taking it and putting it on a Civic or a car that didnt come with it.
