Well, they may be rice, but they're Euro-rice.

The angel-eyes on the BMW 5er e39 are part of the Xenon headlight option. Pretty serious headlights.

... that looks horrible, imho most cars that have headlights showing need something to accentuate them and the cars design... the 944's headlights..... well they dissapear, they're only purpose is functionality and i dont think styling was in mind when creating them... whats cooler than dissapearing headlights ?

I disagree, to me the following items are pure rice;
*The headlights
*The big ugly rear bumper/air brake
*The blue reverse lights
*The light-up gauges
*The crests, everywhere
*The steering wheel and shift ****
I'm still undecided on the front end and the rockers, on their own they aren't that bad but when combined with the rest of it, it's just too much. The pedals and brakes are just for show (which, to me, =rice). At least it doesn't have neons or some rediculous tint job

I think some of you guys are out of line here....This guy has put alot of time and work and time into his car and he obviously loves the car because it is a 944 at heart, but he just wanted a little bit more to make the car better for his personal satisfaction just like myself and many others here on the list...But now to go and start calling parts or things he did or had done to his car rice...! I think you are insulting him and his work....Why not just say you dont like it, why do you have throw in the rice part..? Do you get a hard on from it...? I myself love Rennlist, there is alot of diversity here, people that like their 944's just the way they are stock and only like to fix them as needed, and then there are those that put every single penny they can into their cars to make them a little bit better, whether by looks or performance, like myself....But you dont see the guys that put some money into their cars for their personnal satisfaction like myself, here on rennlist insulting or making fun of the the guys who prefer stock cars or as they are original....Im not going around telling people on rennlist when they post pics of their stock 944 they just waxed and love the way it is, insults or comments.....Do you..? Rather I give them a compliment...But regardless of what you or anyone does to their 944 whether its a body kit, rims, shift **** or whatever, it is still a 944 at heart and that is why we are all here isnt it..? If the guy didnt love the car for what it is originally from the factory, i dont think he would of put all this time and money into it to begin with...He just wanted a little bit more, like me, cass944, IAn, PAul, MAtt H, JAun, Swagger 93 just to name a few...so whats the problem....? Is my car rice...? Because I put 968 stuff on my car, or even a paragon coil over kit..? again either you like it or dont.....Im sure if we gave Excellence a call to check it out they would beg to differ....

ANd im sure John D is real sick himself of some of the comments and arguments that have risen as a result of rice comments here on this board...its all around immature and insulting...

But dont take me wrong, there are plenty of kids and adults out there on this fine planet that do some pretty stupid things to their cars, is this rice..? Well no it just does not look good.....Rice is something you eat last time i checked...and if you really want to talk rice then go to a rice forum like antirice.com and you guys can all be one happy family...


And what if this guy was introduced to Rennlist who might be an around awesome guy like many here on the board,would of become a member, but now he sees this crap you guys are talking and now he thinks badly of Rennlist and stays away, that wont make me very happy or many others here on the board...point being you guys never even gave the guy a chance...right away this rice crap again....

Oh and I love this guys 944, but not the rear bumper, just seems to big for my taste....otherwise a very nice 944... Was that so hard..?

I would like halo fog lights! Makes no sense to raise the headlights and only have the halo's glowing. Otherwise, to each his own!
