Has the chain tensioner been replaced lately? I have never seen the "S" on the rear 944S emblem below the 944 number. Was it always like that?

Wow, after buying all of that stuff you going to sell it. I know that you hate to see it go. Wish I had the cash, I would take it in a second.

Tod, based on your other thread, maybe you should stay away from "For Sale" threads before your wife get REALLY upset

I never changed the chain tensioner. I inspected it and visually looks ok.The P.O."SAID" He had the head rebuilt a year before I bought it. With no reciepts of course, The head (not valve cover) was spotless when I bought the car, but I am not sure That is why I did not list It on the"new" part list.

Oh, By the way, I am not sure about the "S" placement. It was like that since I bought it.

don't have any model or key #'s, but my 944's alarm key is the exact same blank as my 2002tii's ignition key.

not that that would be an easier to find or anything, i just thought it was a neat coincidence.

throw it on ebay, you may sell it for quite a bit more and quicker. $2900 seems way cheap. if i could get down there, i'd buy it.

NJ huh? I am actually thinking about throwing it on a trailer and just storing up in new york... Actually at my GF's house in west of the Boston area. Unless anyone wants it here locally for $2,400.

Be aware of the 3 problems.....
No A/C - compressor seized
No Anti lock brakes (light on)
It has developed a bit of lifter tick.... Not sure why.

Send me a PM If interested.

When do you need to have it sold by? I'm looking at next 2 weeks maybe I can work something out but it's an iffy so if you fine someone that wants it go for it. Anyways I'll be around if you haven't moved and still have it I will give it a good home.
