Power Door Lock Question
I had to replace part of my door handle because the body shop broke it and now the handle works well and is adjusted however the power locks are acting very weird. The door locks and unlocks with a key from the drivers side but the motor does not turn on. The central locking switch unlocks the drivers side door with the power however the lock does not stay up. The key in the passenger side door unlocks the drivers side door with the power and it again does not stay up. It feels as though the locking cylinder is out of adjustment ie you have to turn the key less then 90 degrees to unlock. Can anyone help me out? I would love to get this all taken care of before I put the panel back on. Thanks guys!

I think Luis is right. Last March I did a major debug on my door lock system. I wrote about the procedure, and you will find it at:

hopefully the link shows up correctly. If the driver side switch is messed up then you can disconnect it to see if that stops the locks from going down.
