Hey, I was just wondering how to remove the cam from the tower and all. I tried turning and pulling but it only came out a little bit. Thanks

as long as you have the back side of the distributor housing off it slides right out. just be very carefull that you puill it STRAIGHT out very slowly and carefuly, you dont want and dings, dents, or knicks on the bearing surface on the inside of the case or on the cam itself. same as putting it back in. also you can try taking the rear cap off the other end of the housing and push it out.

Trick question: "Does the cam come out the back or the front of the tower"???

Haha I guess since he said distributor housing i should pull it out the front. I was having a hard time doing that today so that's why i was asking. Thanks

Either way... there is nothing to impede the camshaft, once you have everything out of the way.
