where do you look up color codes for porsches? i have an early 85 and finally saw past the screw holding my center "porsche" panel in and found my paint code. the screw went right through the code. does the LY5V sound familiar? its kinda silver blue gray in the trunk area. the car was repainted arctic silver. also, in my engine compartment, it looks like the paint is a cadmium or goldish tint.....all the other compartments i see are body colored. for my testors 951 model, im pretty sure i remember it saying to paint the engine bay goldish color, but ive never seen it on any other car than mine.

ly5v is sapphire metallic. thus the silver gray in the trunk areaa.

I think the color looks great too. But then again I am partial to red because every car I've owned (all 2 of them lol) has been red. But hey at least it's not as common as Guards Red for sure. And you're welcome.
