Default Owners of 930 S steering wheels

What hub is used to mount these? Is it some propriatary hub just for this wheel? Also in comparison to a stock 944 steering wheel are they the same size or samller and do they rotate around the center axis of the hub? Or are they slightly off center? The reason I ask is my momo is just slightly smaller than stock and with it's center axis of roation vice slightly offset (like the stock wheel) I have trouble seeing the instruments as well as with the stock steering wheel. I was wondering if this was the case with the 930s steering wheel. Also what is the going rate for these?

I have the 968 Club Sport wheel. It just bolted right on (no hub required).

As for the instruments, I have to duck to see the "bright beam" light. Otherwise, no major problems...but there is a difference.

I have the 930S wheel that I bought from pelican last Christmas for about 225. The wheel is slightly smaller in diameter than the stock wheel. I like the size... easier to get my legs under the car when sliding in.

No real problem seeing the gauges. Maybe the very top edge.

I used the hub that Pelican also sells. Can also get it from www.fvd.de. Very easy to bolt up. The wheel is concentric with the steering shaft. I did also buy the spacer that pelican sells. It looks to raise the wheel a bit, but it looked that the spacer/wheel combo would not be centered on the shaft, so I elected not to use it, with no issues. The only real problem with the wheel, or actually, the hub, is that the female splines are just slightly off from the factory hub, so the wheel is not quite "straight" when the tires are straight. There might be a fine adjust available, but I haven't looked. Also, the female splines are not quite as "deep" on the new hub, so the wheel seems to jut out just a tad from the dash.

And the crest was a pain in the *** to mount on the horn pad...

I got mine from AJ-USA . They are Rennlist Sponsors . Their current price is around $330 and includes the hub. I bought their non-airbag wheel for my 944 and the airbag wheel for my 1990 C4. Very happy with both! I also have the crest on each wheel. They look very sharp!

This is the best picture that I have now for the new wheel...

I bought mine from Pelican Parts also. I absolutely love it, in fact, if I ever sell the car the wheel will stay with me. No problem reading the gauges. Mounting was very simple, the hub is just like the factory hub.
