Turbo Twists? off a 1989 930 Turbo Cabriolet. Fronts 17x8 and rears 17x9.
Are they Twists or Tech's? Asking price is unbelieveable!!!
Are there casting numbers I can reference?
Thanks Jeff

If they're off an '89 then they may be replica's since '89 911's had the early offset and factory twists were never available in an early offset. Are they being used with spacers or without on this 911?

I'm pretty sure that Fuchs were the standard wheel on all the 930s. If they are genuine Porsche wheels, then they should bolt to your late-offset 944 without much of a problem. If they are replicas, then I don't know.

As above, if they fit the 930 without spacers they have to be cheap copies (good for garden hose hanger, boat anchor, etc).

They are twists and if they were on a 930 then you need to know if they had spacers or not. If they did NOT then they will not fit. They would also be replica wheels. If they were using spacers to make them fit then they should bolt on just fine.
Dammnit Dave, beat me to it.
If they are replicas they wont work for you, but they are not always boat anchors.

OK well I talked to the guy on the phone and he stated that he was using spacers and the logos were snap in not glue on. He's going to look at the wheels for the stampings. He's had them for 3 years. No curb rash only a couple small dings. Front tires are new rears could use replacing. Typical Porsche driver I guess. If you gottem smokum.
For $400 I'm jumping on it will pick them up Sun.

From: Central Illinois. Cornfields a plenty.
From the price I would suspect them to be aftermarket. They will be heavy, adding unsprung weight while driving. You still need to address the offset.. If the car originally had Fuch's (5-spoke) they will be early offset as earlier stated, and you will need spacers $$$.
