Default A/C Oil Capacity - Need final answer

Hi all,

Does anyone have the definitive answer to how much oil is required for our A/C systems? I don't have my FSM manuals with me right now.

Thanks!

Owner's manual states filling capacities including A/C system.

If you're DIY'ing it, the Interdynamics kit refrigerante comes premixed with lubricant, so you won't overfill.

BTDT and it's worked great for months now!

The answer will also depend on which components you replaced, as the oil is all over the system. If none, I would drain the oil from the compressor (there is a drain pug at the bottom of the compressor on my car, but could be different on 951), as it holds most oil, and modify the amount of added fresh oil accordingly.
In my case there was about 3.5 oz of oil in the compressor.
P.s. Make sure the plug is sealed well at the end.
