My personal opinion is this new format is so much better than the old one its not even funny. So much more. More features. Smarter layout. More intuitive. More goodies for us.

I mean Jesus, he even added a toggle so you can toggle the font size right on the msg board. The only thing this board doesnt seem to do is wipe your back end.

If John D were a monkey, Id give him a banana. Thats how much I like it.

I love the new format. The new vBulletin 3.0.3 script is an excellent forum and IMO the best out there. It's too bad that non Rennlist members can't access the OT like before.

Not really it keeps the trolls out and offers a little extra something to paying members, I like it. Besides this is a PORSCHE forum and non-members can still get amazing info for free pertaining to their cars, OT is for the players now!

Sounds like a problem between the seat and the keyboard.

I edited mine last night.

BTW, I love the new look, not that it matters in the least. I'd get used to whatever John decided to use. Great work John.

I think the format is great. As to OT being members only, it makes sense. If you want technical help in the forums, providing it for free to non members is a great community service. If you want to use Rennlist as a social club for entertainment value, then you should be willing to pay for that bit of entertainment. It costs about as much as renting a couple of DVDs, right? What a bargain.

I think the new format looks good BUT where is the quicksearch window?? I know there is a search button at the top, but you need to go through the advanced window and tell it if you just want to search the 944 forum, whereas before there was a nice little search window at the bottom which just searched the forum you were looking at.

Also the spell check button doesn't work with the new or old style forums (Mac OSX with Safari) but then i've got a speel chekc as a type anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I get this every time I open a thread, or reply to a thread, whenever a thread is opened...
on multiple computers too (IE of course, and XP):

runtime error
line 17
Error: 'threadedmode' is undefined
