I doubt it is the timing belt or chain. I believe it only takes 3 teeth off and you start bending valves. Now THAT would get your father's attention!

You know, the TPS and air flow meter have these thin retangular wire clips that lock the electrical socket in place. Those can be easy to lose in the black hole of the engine bay if you are not hanging onto them pretty good with a needle nose pliers. Maybe one got lost and the plug is backing out? Check that out as they are easy to see without removing anything.

As the edited title now says, indeed it was the Oxygen Sensor that was at fault.

I want to thank Fishey for his suggestion and reiterate once again that by no means was I implying to associate the IceShark headlight upgrade itself with the problem just trying to find out anything related to the install that I could have messed up.

As it turns out, the problem had nothing to do with the headlight upgrade installation but rather the Oxygen Sensor had chosen this particular time to start going bad.
