Are the wires the terminal, or do you mean something located on the batery?

Well, do a search under my name and battery cables on Rennlist. That will give you the background. It is going to cost $250+ for the full package, which is what you want to do to a pre 85.5. I'd write more but I need to answer the phone and chase down two parts for this next build that is on.

Your problem is located downstream of the battery post. Who knows where until you investigate.
