Im wondering if anyone can tell me the head volumes on the 8V head and the 16V head?
Thanks,

not real sure what your question is. the displacement for both engines is 2479cc. (they are the same engine block, just different heads)

I think he means the volume of the combustion chamber contributed by the head, it affects compression ratio.
I have no idea. If you have one off the car you can fill one section with oil or some fluid, than pour it into a graduated cylinder.
That's the idiot's way of doing it, a mathematician would do it with a calculator and a mechanic would probably have it in the factory manual somewhere.

The head volume is important in determining compression though...if the head volume is 1/10th the cylinder volume, then the compression ratio is roughly 10:1.
