That lighter metallic green I'v seen on some ford products. Not the dark green and yet not the lighter green that has the blue tinge to it, kinda hard to explainl. Would look good with the brown/black interior. As for the engine compartment, gray/white specel trunk paint, brightenes things up and makes it easier to work, also goes with any outside color. When I get some of my old slides of the 66 Chevelle digitized, I'll post em for all to see what I mean. \

I would go with the original color of the car.

But stay with the original porsche classic colors. My car is black and it is amazing when its clean but its the hardest color ever to keep clean.

I have a black car... and I'll never get another one again. Really difficult to keep clean.

If it were practical to change, I'd go with Artic Silver. There'e a Silver S2 not too far from where I live and it looks great.

Karl.

The true "old-time" German national racing color is white. That changed early however to silver when the Auto Union team came in just a smidgeon too heavy and they stripped the paint, leaving the bare aluminum body. So, the more "modern" color is silver, but the original color is white.

Speaking of national racing colors....

My car will be painted with the US national racing colors - blue and white.

Maritime Blue and I was not going to repaint but in looking at the car the other day, it would be a shame not to make it "perfect" so I probably will. Dammnit, out comes the engine again.

Only a couple. It belongs to a friend of mine.

Not the best as they are interior mostly.

Mmmm, Guards Red bashing. Ouch. Well, it was the color I wanted in high school, so I stuck with it. And if I repainted, I would keep it the original color for the reasons stated above.

But if I were buying a new one I'd look for the maroon, silver or black one because there are so many red ones already. I also saw a 951 that was a kind of silvery green metalic. I wouldn't think I'd like that color, but it looked very nice.

Quick Reply: What color would you repaint?
