Wow, thats almost like a British Racing Green. First time I've seen that shade on a 944.

Arctic silver...newer color, pretty common on 911s, and boxsters. But there are only 2 944s I know of that have it...

mine was resprayed the arctic......but i dont know where to find the paint code. my original color is kinda darker grey/bluish/silver. still looks good and shiny under the hatch sound deadener.

Man i love that green on the 944's.. As for me, i have a metallic nauctic blue.. dont know how rare it is though..

The guy originally had this N/A, then later on changed to a turbo... which is also '86 Crystal Green... what a coincidence

My dad had a 91 S2 that was some sort of metallic black. In certain lighting you could see metal flakes in the paint and hints of very dark gray. He bought it new so it wasn't a respray. I don't have any digital photos of it.

Ken,

Was that the 88 that was advertised through PCNA? IIRC, I didn't look at it a couple of times b/c of the miles... but when I ended up checking it out I considered going after it. If it's the same car, it had impeccable mait and was extremely nice. Congrats!

A year or two ago I also considered trying another nile green 88 that had factory green seat-piping. I didn't have the $$ then, though - too bad It's a great color, and I love all of the "earth" tones on these cars.
