Default Limit for pistons and rods on a S2

I was searching in the archives but found nothing.

I only found a few things to give me some idea if my engine will handle what I plan on giving it.

A. The pistons and rods are forged (not cast)
B. The limit of S/C at 7psi is due to PING not weak rods or pistons.
C. 250hp DRY shots of No2 have been done but with moddified internals (From what I could see it only said pistons with lowercompression nothing about the rods)

Right now my plans are by end of summer to have my N02 system on and dyno tuned to my car. (50-75 wet shot) I know this is within the tolerances of the internals so no worry for now. However I plan on adding a SFR supercharger (stage 3) within the next 3 years and would like to keep my No2 system along with the supercharger. I am not worried about ping because there will be no lack of fuel from the wet kit but I am worried about bending a rod. Does anyone know if the rods can handle the extra power of both the No2 and the S/Cer (350ish rwhp)?

Tim from SFR has a 944S2 supercharger kit in the Rennlist classifieds right now for $3500.

968 engine, true...but not the S2. there was some bogus marketing info when the model was first introduced...but as far as I'm aware, nobody has found original forged rods & pistons in an S2 engine yet

I dont see why they wouldnt, plenty of people have made more HP than that in the Turbo cars. That said, sure is an awfully expensive mistake to make based on the advise of those who havent done it. Why not call Tim@SFR or Scott@UnderPressure or Neil@PD? I am sure anyone of them will know.

From what I can find it all depends on when your S2 was made. december or 1988 seemed to be the last date for the cast pistons in the S2. After that it seems the pistons changed to the later spec of forged.

It is known there were changes from one manufacturer to another. Is that what you mean? Do you know of a Porsche document the details the before/after serial numbers. A lot of us would love this to be true, but no one has documented proof AFAIK.
