Actually, Saturday was:

1. Take up a bay.
2. Take the car apart.
3. Drink Beer.
4. Jello Shots
5. More Beer.
6. Then when asked by Tifo at 7:30pm "what's taking so long to put the car back together", the answer is "I'm waiting for a bolt to show up that I am missing". Huh?
7. Tifo drives Chris to his house in Bellbrook to get a bolt (because bolts can't drive).
8. Car gets fixed
9. Car gets slept in


There, I think that's 'bout right.

The Turbo. It has a leaking head gasket and I don't want to nickle and dime with her over the next few years. I think I'll pull the engine for a rebuild, new clutch, new turbo, mods, etc. I'm thinking hard about a Leda suspension.....

I'm about ready to finish the n/a. I need the $$ when I sell her for upgrades to Beabea. :sigh: I guess it's about time to give Matt H a call and see if he wants to help slap her back together.

Honest to god.. I left Illinois thinking I could really fix my car on the road.

I now realize these SOW guys have taught me so much- I'm blessed. and VERY well prepared. I have been so lucky. My cross country trip was by the grace of god, now I'm fortified with knowledge. and jello shots.

I swear If Jack Kerouac had a car.. I'd be him. (No offense Harry!)
