Hey guys,
I have the 10 speaker panels for both doors currently in black, but I am going to recover them with burgandy carpet. They will still have black accents, but I think it will look ok. My question is, what is the difference, if any, between the door panels on the 10 speaker and 4 speaker cars? Other than the obvious 4x6 hole in the front and the tweeter? I should be able to mount these directly up to the door correct?

hey buddy,
thats part of my project (or similar)

and yes you are right, there is "also" a few minor tweeks, from say going to a 4spkr to 10spkr panel

there are mounting holes cut into the card for the 10 speaker box to fix to the door, the coveer/door compartments are different, but they still fit.

goto my website, look up porsche, projects and ICE project (in car entertainment) has pics and I "think" some comparison pics, ala 968/944 4spkr and 10 spkr

I didnt put the comparison pics, but look at my 4 spkr door panels, if you have the 10spkr, you will see the obvious difference !
