After test driving several 911's for under 15K, I purchased a superior 968 for under 15k.

944T4ME got his car for 8500 with like 40 grand in reciepts and a new engine. I see them go regularly for 6-7k on ebay. The non-S cars with a few dash cracks or some other minor malady that has no affect on the car whatsoever go for like 6-7k all the time. Hell, I just got offered a 1986 951 in great cosmetic condition, 130k miles, just needs a CV joint and oil pressure sender...has new clutch, belts, WP...for $5500. give me a half hour, ill find you a nice 951 for 7000 bucks that's right up your alley.
