115 miles for me, about 2 hrs I guess. I would love to come as I dont think I have anything planned for this weekend, but I really dont know if I should be driving anywhere...shes leaking oil from what appears to be the oil pan gasket. Im going to clean it up tonight and see if its coming from above or at the gasket for sure. Its messy under there, if I park it after driving it will leave a small pool, but its not pouring out...yet

A picture is worth a 1,000 words...

Good to hear about this weekend if your leaning towards "yes" than let me know what road you will be taking it I'm sure we can travel together on the way down.

Sam,
I purchased them from http://www.hosetechniques.com/ and were not from Tim. That looks like a oil pan gasket bud, did you check the bolts?... could have loosen with age maybe? Try snugging them up see if it helps. Also check and see if its wet right by your oil dipstick where it plugs into the block, there is a plastic spacer that seals onto a red o-ring that breaks with age. I thought my pan gasket was leaking really bad as well but turned out my stupid $.50 o-ring on the end of the dipstick went bad.

Mmmm....not sure what that is, Dan. Well, just bring it if you think I might need it. My car(s) need a lot of things!!!!!

I'll post explicit directions for everybody tomorrow. 'Cause explicit stuff is cool, heh heh, heh heh.

Dan, Sam, Mr 103, I've got a few couches and an air mattress or two, come on down.

Guess I'll have to finally clean my house, make it look respectable.............

This is gonna' be cool.

Its a fuel pressure regulator from my 87 turbo, I took it off the car when it had 43k on it. So far Wade I'm a for sure, Sam is pretty much a for sure I think, and MR 103 aka Matt, i'm awaiting his response... we will have a good time no doubt, I even sent Cory a PM.

Sam, don't worry about leaving an oil mark. Mine's been doin' it since a week after I bought it. I swear I'll fix it someday. Just park next to me and you can blame the leak on my car.

Harry, will you and Anders be passin through Dayton at the start of your trip? Maybe I could meet up with you guys at I-70 & I 75 for a quick breakfast/lunch or something.

possably. either there or cincy. i believe we will be doin a southern route this year.. saw colorado this year and the rockies.. this year why not do 66, and the grand canyon (well thats what howard the other 912er caravaning with us wants to do..).. as much as i would love to see the grand canyon, this is suicide considering my car dont like the heat.. maybe i can talk him into a cooler route..

yes.. i think we should hook up. bring chris and the gang along, i know anders wants to meet as many rennlisters as he can while hes out here. ill make a post about this as soon as we get the details layed out as far as when hes arriving etc. hopefully he doesnt run into probs getting everything he needs to travel in time (i know it can take a us citizen a month to get a visa, passport etc.. )
