It seems to be very sporadic- I had a LOT of AMD returns- others had none.
Hence my proclivity towards Intel. I wont even tell you about the Cyrix chips.

Not to get you down, but maybe that is why Chris924s is finding he has to replace AMD chips. Not that i've ever had to replace and AMD chip.

Perhaps, but I've been using AMD since the T-Bird days, and still have a furnace-900 running as a server. They just won't quit!
