I'm thinking of selling my Design 90 wheels and 16" Kuhmo's and I'm wondering what would be a good price to ask.
The wheels are 16x7 and 16x8, the tires are Ecsta Supra 712's in 205/55/16 and 225/50/16. The tires have about 70% of their life left and the wheels are in good shape but I will repaint them before I sell them.
My plan is to pick up a set of 17" 993 cup wheels to use as everyday wheels and keep the Kahn 18's for special occassions. The Kahn's are nearly irreplaceable and I want to keep them nice.

Depends on the condition of the wheels, tread-life remaining on the tires and whether or not the center caps are included.
Keep in mind that today most people are looking for 17" or larger wheels.
IMHO the value is in the $400-600 range.
Best of luck.

Good luck getting more than 400-500. I have sold about 4 sets of D90s and never got more than 400 bucks. Kind of wishing I had held on to the white ones i had.

I agree with your idea Pete--those 18" rims are kinda like show rims! Nice 17" Cups will look sweet, and give you a nicer every-day ride compared to the larger rims.
I would paint the D90's, and take some good photos of them, then stick em on Ebay. Say they're "super clean, near mint", and I bet you sell them for a decent price.

Nice plan on the wheels Pete. I paid more for my D90's, but they were a set of 8's all around with race tires. I think the 400-600 range is a good estimate. Good luck.

$400-$600 is about what I figured. The tires have a lot of life left in them so that should help. They're straight with no curb rash and I'm going to repaint them so they'll look like new.
These wheels are a great upgrade for the 924S. ( Chris? Jeff?)

I payed $350 (400 after shipping) and that was for what in my opinion are about as good as you will see them. However that was without tires but with tires add $100... and you get $450ish range for a nice set of D90's and 70% tires

I gotta win the lottery.
They look great on the 924S- But I'll be out of the running - I would need store an extra set of wheels and dont have room. The market in 15x6 Late Offset PD's is awful so I'll be keeping mine as is for a while.
