Although I sort of met you last year, it was nice talking to you again this year Harry (I'm Tyler...?) Anyway, next year I'm going to have to get a ride in that car...I've heard good things. This was a good year, I'm already looking forward to 944fest '05!

Harry, this is Kale, I have hijacked Chris' computer again. Didn't get to tell you goodbye lastnight, nor did I get to thank you for the smokes. So, here it is...THANKS AND GOODBYE!

Hey Pete, the same to you. If you're ever in the Ames, Iowa area talk to Mom and Chris and have them give you my contact info. Also Harry has it. We should be playing shows very, very soon after my return.

That was a blast. It was great meeting all of you for the first time. Lots of fun, lots of fun!
-Bruce and Wade jamming around the campfire - Wade's classic rock and Bruce's improv
-Fireworks and my first experience with roman candles
-Getting my first rides in modified 951s, courtesy of Brian (Cuz), Winslow, and their respective rockets
-Seeing over 40 944s in one place
-No tent? No sleeping bag? No problem - sport seats baby!
-Hanging out with a group of people with an amazing variation in age
-Meeting the boss and Jen, and the countless number of air-cooled jokes
-watching everyone towel off their cars after it rained a bit Sunday morning, while I thought 'oh cool picture time' instead & got a new avatar as a result
-The CRUISE, absolutely BOMBING around those Ohio backroads, along with a nice little jaunt with Pete and Cory on 71 before ducking in just in time for the proper exit back to the house
-blowing past cops at above-legal speeds
-thanks again to Fishey, his parents, and Dan P
hope everyone had good luck coming home - i successfully avoided what seemed like dozens of state troopers while still clipping along at 80
i'm gonna throw my pictures into the pics thread too

I am so tired right now that I am about to fall asleep on my keyboard. Therefore, this post will be brief. One, I wanted to say, generically, that I enjoyed meeting all of you guys this weekend. Two, and I would be amiss if I did not say this publicly to Dan P: "THANKS SO MUCH for the countless hours you put into making this event exceptional!!!" My father is so excited about his new 968 model. He even said he is going to paint it Amazon Green Metallic with factory paint! Also, that Sparco mechanic's uniform (he received for being the oldest in attendance) will be put to good use when I get the garage set up. Yes, it is an XL, and at best, I wear a medium, but I will be borrowing it from dad once in a while, rest assured. As a sidenote, while most think he couldn't be a day over 45, he really is 57! That explains why, at 28, most people think I'm only 20....
and that is with the beard... Thanks again to you, Dan P, as well as to the Swift family and to Cuz. Well done, my friend, well done!

Does anyone have a final tally? My count was 35 on saturday, and another 5 or so popped in for Sunday's bombing run. Does the official 944Fest watercooler count go above 40? It sure looked like it by my eyes..
What an amazing venue- Gerat people, great food, great hosts- it was MUCH better than "Decent". I think more like "Wicked Slick". Who said anything about rain..
So- How many of YOU have one of these? I'm so ashamed.. By the time I post this I'll be back to 1 post. (Thanks again John D. !)
There are so many people to thank- at the risk of leaving anyone out I will simply say thanks to all who attended, planned, provided for 944Fest 04, I'm in awe. stunned. What a great time.
Extra special "secret probation" thanks to Dan P and Cuz, The Swifts, John and Jen, Wade and Leah, Sid, Travis, Andy, Jeff, Winslow and that damn Hoffman kid. So many others for again making this one of the best weekends I've ever had.
For the SOW guys, I love you guys, you rat bastards.
My personal favorite quote of the weekend by Sid Viscous. "My god- you are even uglier than me!"
It's gonna take a LOOONG time to get this smile off of my sunburned face.
