Right now I'm shooting for a start date of Aug 2. Still going through all the security paperwork...ugh! And after driving the 944 for a year and a half problem free (relatively), the gremlins are back. The control arm ball joints and front wheel bearings finally went a few weeks ago, and now I've got one nasty looking fuel leak in the back. Looks to be in the area of the fuel filter, so I get to spend the afternoon chasing that. Ah, the pride and joy of 944 ownership!

Yeahhh - parts car... Drool...
Just kidding - as a team it only took us two months to change out Kevin's ball joints. Of course we had to wait until he was drunk enough so we could operate on him without all that screaming...

Well, I found the source of the leak....the rubber hose downstream of the fuel filter. Even has the part number still printed on it, legible even!
Yeah, George, we're definitely going to have to hook up soon. I've been getting the itch to go road racing, just don't have the funds to do it on my own. Would love to go in with someone else.....wink, wink - nudge, nudge.
Funny thing is this '89 war originally titled in Texas....guess I'm just bringing it 'back home'.
