Nabeel, Is it road worthy to drive back to Dallas? If so I might be interested. Could you meet me at the airport to pick it up?

Thanks!

35thSLP;

I can't speak for Nabeel, but I just followed Nabeels "gold mobile " home from the 944fest at a steady cruise of 80 to 85mph. So to answer your question, the Magic 8-ball would say...."All signs point to yes!"

Nabeel's car is a beauty. Very clean car. If he's still selling it, someone will get a good car.

I would check the sunroof drain hose, I think it goes down by the passenger side fender. This could be where the water is coming from.

Around 3 PM today Nabeel was heard stating "After seeing all of these cars...I'm going to do everything possible to try to keep the 944." Then he took a ride in a 968 and has decided he needs one of those pretty badly...so the 944 might actually still be for sale.

Yup, that pretty much sums it up.

BUMP

The car is still for sale. Someone make me a reasonable offer, I'd love to see it go to a good home!

Nabeel,
Is the Audi a manual? If so I may be able to find a buyer. I'd love to get the Porsche but I won't be in the market for another few months. After a 951 and a 928 S4 I just want a basic 944NA that's clean, reliable, cheap, that I can drive w/o the stress of a speeding ticket. Just cruise. Your car fits the script but is just a few months too early. Very classy rides.

As soon as I get rid of my 93 325is and 01 Taurus I'll be looking for a car very similar to that. I guess we'll talk when that happens, beautiful car Nabeel. Anyone want to buy either of my cars?

Bump.

Nabeel,

Looks like a very good car. I'm not in the market anymore, but yours is definitely one I would have investigated as well. Just wanted to complement you on your very thorough and "upfront" description. My car was also purchased from a Rennlist member who was thoroughly great to deal with. Your writing reminded me of his replies to my questions. It gives a potential buyer a lot of confidence when the seller is open and detailed about everything (as you are), especially the weak points.

Best of luck in finding a caring home for your car!

Allan

I saw Nabeel's car at the 944 Fest and it is a really nice car. If I were in the market for a 944 I would buy it in a second.

The Audi is an automatic and I've more or less decided to keep that car as my winter ride. It will be for sale once again come spring. The '95 model year was the only year in which that generation A6 was available with a manual. Tell your friend to look into a '96 S6 if he wants a manual tranny though. They have the turbo 5-cyl engine which can put out lots of power with some mods. They are fairly rare, but a blast to drive.

Oh, and I'm about to send you a PM...
