Default New Main bearings, minor scratches??

I installed a very slightly rusted crank with plenty of pre-lube and spun it by hand a few times before I decided to pull the crank and have it micropolished. I didnt tighten anything up, just had it sitting there with the girdle on top of it.

Some of the journals had a few small circles of rust, while others had none. The scratches on the bearings do not coincide with the journals that had the small circles of rust.

Anyway...there are some minor scratches on the main bearings now...is it anything to worry about? I can't feel them at all with my nails. It almost seems like there is a coating on the bearing and the scratch just broke through the coating. Perhaps a ceramic coating from the factory? Or a material that is supposed to get worn during breakin?

I would bring them to a shop to be checked out real quick, but its not easy with my work schedule.

thanks,
Adrial K
