I'll make ya a deal........

Search around the islands for ANY company that services / sells Xerox Docutech machines... I would move to Hawaii just to buy it.

So, If there's a company that will hire me, I'll buy it from you when I move out there..

Sound like a deal ????

I'll try and look for a job...

In the mean time, if you are seriously interested in my car, I can ship to Oakland/Long beach for about $950. I'm open to offers so please PM me your offer if you are interested. I want to sell it soon!
Thanks!

They need to make abridge!

Bridge would be great! Then anyone can just drive this car back to mainland...you'll accumulate some mileage though

I'm not sure about shipping to east coast...but I know shipping to west coast ports are around $950.

I wasn't interested in purchasing, I was just wondering in general if there was any kind of ferry or something.

A lot cruises will load cars. If there was a typical ferry that went out there, it would probably be around $950.

Just bought the car today folks...missed your chance to move to Hawaii I guess. Now, it's time to browse these forums as it is my first Porsche.

Wow....i've put about 150 miles on it so far, it's my first Porsche. Kind of reminds me of my old RX7.....lol....just kidding.

My wife even likes it....although for completely different reasons than I do. She finds it pleasant to cruise around with the top down. Heh....I find it pleasant to stomp the gas on twisty roads.

the car needs a few things (like shocks and struts and sooner or later a clutch) but I'm very pleased. The thing that is so weird is the reaction I get from many people "oh....wow....a Porsche?" I try to emphasize that it cost 1/3 the price of our Mazda Minivan.

Hawaii is a good place for a Porsche, and a great place to have a convertible. I could go on and on about how well it drives, but you guys all know that cause you have 944s too.

Having fun in Hawaii,

dan

I bought my first Porsche in Hawaii. Great to drive all the way around Oahu with the top down (or off in my case) on a Sunday afternoon.
