Stereo.... where do ya connect Illumination wire ??
The new JVC deck that I just put in has a wire that is supposed to be connected to some sort of illumination connection, so that it will dim when I dim the dash... is there any location that a 8" wire will reach to ??
I didn't think I needed it, but the display no longer lights up and it's a touch screen, so I have to use the remote. It looks as though I'll be sending it back ( if I can - EBay )..

I always wondered how that would light the ashtray..
well , it seems that my unit is indeed broke, so to JVC I go to get it fixed.
It's really a nice system, and I figured that since it just hit the market, any EBay purchase would be a new working unit... oh well.
