Default Replacing the PORSCHE crest

I want to replace my faded Porsche crest How is this done ?

It pops right out (at least on mine)
Just pop the new one on
You can reuse the gasket if needed

I think some were secured differently

late model cars the nose panel needs to be removed. 2 bolts at fender to nose junction, the visible screws at the top and 2 screws looking towards the center from inside the headlight opening (raise lights first). 2 retainers hold the emblem on.

On my '87, the badge just snaps into two holes in the nose panel. All you need to do to replace it is pop it out. I was able to do this with just three fingers on either side of the crest, although it did take a fair bit of pressure. Replacement is the reverse of removal.

Do a search for some strategies to help you deal with the gasket. I found that using a sewing needle to spread it over the edge of the crest worked well.
