Cluster lights went out, then fixed after switching dome light on and off?

Cluster lights went out, then fixed after switching dome light on and off?
Was driving my car at night. Cluster lights were fine. Parked it for a few minutes and turned the car back on and noticed my cluster lights were off while driving. Turned on my dome light to see if that worked and it did, then I noticed my cluster lights were back on? Is this a symptom of a switch someplace that is on its way out? Difficult to diagnose now since everything is working again...
When my cluster lights were out, I tried adjusting the dimmer and turning my headlights on and off with no luck. Oddly, turning the dome light on and off fixed it?

No common switch, but they both ground to MPIII. Try cleaning that.
