Default Block pitting (sorry..double post..)

I'm currently in the process of replacing the head gasket on my 951 and found this pitting on the edge of the water jacket by the #1 cylinder. Is this something that's going to be a problem? I haven't seen any indication there was a problem in this part of the gasket.

Pulling the engine would be extremely difficult if it needs to be decked at a machine shop. I assume it would somehow need to be filled before doing so.

Is jb weld an option here? Should i just leave it as is?
