87 924s. I am about to install a new sport muffler and intermediate exhaust. Both Dansk.

my question is how does the intermediate exhaust attach to the down pipe?

I was under the car and it doesn’t look like there is a break. Certainly no bolts connection like the intermediate to muffler. Will it need to be cut and welded? Picture of the dansk…. Thank you.

I was unaware that Dansk made a cat/ muffler replacement. Where does one order it from? I have a bad kitty as well as a Dansk muffler. The bad cat must go as it is broken up inside..Thanks in advance😀
