Pics of my 16 Y.O. Girl! OK, it's my car's birthday.
Well, she turned 16. Build date as best I can approximate is July 1988.
She's come a long way, we've shared many miles and lots of weather.
I have been busy doing some preliminary primping, wetsand, polish and a light wax so far. I expect the finer swirl marks to come out with the next coat of wax. It still needs to be cleaned, detailed and some minor details attended to - but she will be the pig she was last year at 944fest.
I pulled off the wheels one by one for some wetsanding and polish compound and some light wax to get them up to speed with the rest of my daily driver.
This is the unrequested help I get. Ducky huh! I started by throwing leftover bread crumbs out my patio to feed the birds, and these 3 mallards started showing up. THe Males (Scruffy and Odie) and the Female (Daisy) show up every morning just to check on me. I get several visits daily.
I ran out of breadcrumbs and had a few Cheeto's laying around. The males prefer the crunchy type- but Daisy doesnt care. Sh will take a puffed cheeto directly from my hand.
I swear, sometimes it's like a friggin' Disney film here.
Patti named the ducks so I would stop threatening to eat them- j/k.

Pete- My digital camera aint what she used to be- luckily it hides some bad sections- but the pics still dont do it justice. She's come a looong way in the last 2 weeks.
