early 944 throttle body reseal kit availability
Is anyone aware of a place where I can get a throttle body reseal kit that is compatible with the early 944? I have an '83 NA which has a vacuum leak at the throttle body shaft bearings, which I believe is related to a warm surging idle issue...
The reason I ask is because it seems the arnnworx kits are no longer available (arnnworx site is down) and although Paragon has a listing for them, they're been out of stock for quite a while
Any help would be massively appreciated!

I did mine years ago with the Arnnworx kit. IIRC, had some O-rings and replacement hex screws. I’d just pull the TB and source your own O-rings. Got a good set from Harbor Freight. You may have to source the larger O-ring from a local hardware store. Miss Bruce! He spoiled us with a lot of great products.

I’m not sure what you’re seeing from your post, but when I scroll down there is post called “throttle body rebuild/reseal parts.” There is a poster named “944 timbo” who posted many pictures in painstaking detail of the O-ring sizes and also the instructions that were supplied with the Arnnworx kit. I don’t remember it taking me more than 90 minutes and that’s with never doing it before. Let us know how you made out as I’m probably going to need to do this again myself soon.

Yep, just found that thread, extremely helpful pictures of the instructions and part dimensions. I'll piece together a parts list hopefully with some links and post it here for future reference
