DME Fuse Died...

Thats it and thats all! all better now..

There is nothing I can think of that could be hurt by trying to start the car with the DME unplugged.

You mention and A/F gauge where did you connect it to? The most common problem dealing with the hookup of an A/F gauge is if you ground that connection out it will blow the fuse for the fuel pump. If you connected the gauge at the DME did you go inside the connector and connect it after the wire leaves the grounded sheath?
