Everything has a price. Make me an offer. I'd build a nice LT-4 968!

He didn't come out and say that he did in so many words, but it reads like he is selling them I guess. I honestly thought that he did build and sell them, or worked at a place that did the same. Apparently I inferred that along the way somewhere.

As far as the comment as to the n/a brakes not being enough, I agree that they probably aren't perfect, but if anyone has ever driven some older US muscle cars...................the n/a brakes would have to still be ten times better. I used to have a late-70's Trans Am with the WS6 suspension package and 4 wheel discs, and it still had crappy brakes. I bet these 944's are better all-round performers than that T/A.

Speaking of older US cars and brakes I had a 75 chevy monza that came from the factory with a 350 in it. Also came stock with 14 inch tires and the brakes were a joke. I can't even begin to count the number of brake pads that I went through with that car.

Hybrid or mongrel, the market will judge. It will be interesting to see what they sell for.

I would love to know what they finally go for. I think that information would be very beneficial.

and you guys wonder why I am not a fan of them...I have seen 3-4 with my own eyes and they all looked much more like this than the few conversions here.

I bet the NA brakes would be adequate. The 92 Mustang LX 5.0 I had prior to the Porsche madness had smaller discs and calipers up front than my 86 944. The rears were drums. They were OK on the street. On the track would have been another story.

Like Tifo said, compared to what they had for brakes on a 60s-70s muscle car, the N/A brakes would seem like heaven.

Damn...here he goes again. I don't think you can find a thread where I said I owned these cars. Jeez! These cars belong to friends, and I offered to mention them on this list, and the mouth of the south, with the green vein of jelously has to pipe in like he's Jesus Christ of the converted cars. Man kiss my ***!
