One piece is better - less seams to start peeling away and form bubbles or those annoying "ridges". Once that happens, there's no way to fix it other than redoing the entire pane.

Someone want a tinted rear hatch in exchange for one not tinted? If not the tint has to come off so here is your chance to save money getting tinting done. Dal

I have two untinted rear hatches if you're interested. I'm not going to get someone else's tinted hatch though because (1) I have no way of knowing the condition of the tint and (2) it'll be impossible to get the exact same film to match the other windows to it (unless you did it yourself and know the exact type of film used).

I paid $235 or so for my tint on all the side windows and rear hatch from Ziebart. I did have to pay extra b/c of the hatch. I asked them about Camero bubble hatches and why they werent just as hard. The person who did mine was actually a lady whod been doing it 10+ years (shes done all my cars actually) and she said bubble hatches arent difficult only 944 bubble hatches are.

OK, I REALLY want to get my Porsche with tinted windows, I had it on my other car and LOVED it. Keeps the car so nice and cold on hot days with the a/c on. Plus with the glare from other cars at night. Just SO many reasons. Only one I don't like is backing up at night on a dark night. BUT, the question, I had 35% tint on my car before which was nice, not real dark but good to get the job done, what tint does everyone have? The law around here is 50% or less (which actually is 50% or higher because of the rating, the % means how much light is let in, lower the number higher the tint). I am thinking of getting the 35% again but MIGHT go to a 30 or 25% on the car, since it is red the darker tint looks good.

Mike, the rear hatch on one of my cars has 5% tint, the other 20%. You can't see out the hatch with the sunroof open on the 5% (too much light inside the car), so I would never go more than 20% again on the hatch.

Well being I have records from Factory to present I can give you the info on the tint if serious. And the condition is perfect. Dal
