Question Help with removing the condenser?

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to remove the AC condenser? IO've got a 968 engine in the car with the stock 944S radiator, which tends to run very hot in summer heat.

The freon is long gone (AC hasn't blown cold in 4 years), so I don't think that the system is under pressure. Is this a straightforward "loosen the bolts" procedure, or are there any gotcha's... Anyone have any step-by-step instructions?

Also, what are people using for screen materials to protect the radiator from stones and other debris on the track. Anyone have any pics and/or advice as to what to use and how/where to fasten it on the front spoiler?

Thanks!

Matt

Matt,
I am about to do the same thing, remove the condenser and related plumbing. I found a little help on the Paragon site regarding the AC delete.

It basically says to remove the front spoiler. I have not done that yet, but it looks fairly easy.
Sorry, do not have any info or using a screen to protect the rad.

Let us know how it goes, I will do the same if I get to it before you.

Shaun

PS. What year is the car?
