I am looking for a owner of a 89 944. I need to know about a 8 hole plug that is right next to the computer plug. It is not in any of the manuals that I have seen. I am putting a 89 motor in a 83 car. The 83 does not have this plug.

This connector is flat and has 8 holes in a line and is located about 2 inches before the computer connection. The wires are as follows, black, black\yellow, red\white, green\black, black\white, 2 empty spaces then a white.

I think i have that as well, it is not plugged into anything, maybe for the factory alarm?
