Default Roller Gap?

Hello!
today i change my belts and some rollers.
What gap should i have betwen tension roller and balance belt?
I ask that because i have to touch the roller with belt and still the roller make a turn every 10 secs!!!
So,if i make a 3 mm gap, the roller stands still and the belt make a "turbo" noise...

Recently, my 944 sounds like it has a blow off valve because of the exhaust leak. Everytime I let off the gas I get to hear a little "tttsssssss".

Sorry, I can't help you with your question though.

there should be a gap of .5mm between the roller and the top of the belt at the lower balance shaft, the roller should also make contact with the long length of the balance shaft belt and push the belt upwards by about 3mm. Put a spacer of .5mm thickness between the roller and the belt, move the roller sideways toward the long length of the belt and when it deflects the belt by about 3mm, lock it down.

Mark, from what you describe, it means that i have to make 3mm-0.5mm=2.5mm push upwards against the belt???
So,when the engine is stoped, the roller must have contact with the belt or must be 0.5mm gap between roller and the tooth ?
If i have to push so hard the belt, then the original tension provide by lower roller will be around 5!!
Please explain me again (even my english suck!)

Gratian-

When the motor is stopped, the roller should be in CONTACT with the balance shaft belt as noted by MHT.
