Rear seat construction / camera mount
Has anyone ever taken their rear seat apart ? I was wondering what the back was made of, and whether it would be study enough to bolt / screw into for a camera mount.
I was thinking either folding it flat, and pinning the mount down like a tripod, or leaving it up and having a post come from the back.
Anyone tried this before ?
Thanks,
Mike.

Mike,
I used to jam a thin piece of wood between the (useless) cargo cover roll and the rear seat and fasten a camera mount to it. Worked until the screws holding the cargo cover roll gave up! Problem was excessive vibrations.
Your best bet to to install either a harness bar or a roll bar and get an I/O Port camera mount and install that on the harness bar or roll bar.
