Default Where does this line connect to?

Hi Rennlisters-
My car is overheating, and i suspect this unconnected vacuum line is at fault. One end is connected to what i think is the thermostat and the other end connects to something 6 inches away that i can't seem to find. Any ideas?

Heres the pic:

you're having a hard time finding it because the black L rubber connector thing is still on there at the bottom... look for that in the area i showed, and thats where it goes... a picture to get an idea of the area...

thats not why your car is overheating. but if your heat is either always on or never on thats why.

well unless that thing is leeking like mine was and you jsut have low coolant then it could make you overheat.
