If you want to add an electronics to a 924S or early 944 and need a switched 12v source that turns on with the key, I found a good spot/way to tap into the factory harness without having pull out the fuse box or strip/cut wires. I'm working on a 1988 924S and started a YouTube channel that will follow the progress. This episode shows you how I tapped into the wire harness and added a relay without wrecking the factory wiring. Lot's more to come with this show - cool speaker/subwoofer install, custom dash and interior, 944/928 rims, exhaust work, suspension work, shaving side markers and body work, plus just fixing all the stuff that doesn't work. I drive this thing regularly so a episode have been on a as needed, but planning to get into the cool stuff pretty soon. Thanks for checking it out. If you dig the show, it would be awesome if you hit that subscribe button and follow the progress.

Wish I could tell you the exact circuit. I searched online to see if I could figure out exactly which one it is, but couldn't find my specific schematics. I'll probably break down and buy one eventually. There's a white plug that hangs down a little bit lower than the main batch of wires underneath the footwell, so I tapped into to that white pug. it was the one wire that is purple with a black line. I needed a circuit that turned on and off with the key, and just used that to switch a relay that I added so I wasn't worried about putting the extra draw on that circuit (what ever it is).

This video shows what the timing marks look like and how to find top dead center on 924S and 944's. Plus installing a flywheel lock from 944Online.
The second video shows how to R&R the power steering reservoir and how I got mine to stop Leaking. Thanks for checking it out/subscribing!
